Plant Dispatch

Due to quarantine laws plants cannot be shipped to Tasmania or Western Australia. Plants are  dispatched everyday of the week. We may hold back an order if we believe that a public holiday or extreme heat conditions could impact the quality of the plants. We will notify you via email when your plants have left the nursery. The product will be shipped using the most appropriate shipping method including post or courier.

Free Click & Collect

A full compliment of our plants is availble in store at We Know Pets Bowral, NSW. Please select 'Pickup in store' at the checkout to collect your order. The staff will normally have the order ready within a few hours.

Dry Good Dispatch

All other dry goods are dispatched on the next business day, unless advised otherwise. The product will be shipped using the most appropriate shipping method including post or courier. 

In cases where a product ordered is out of stock or may be delayed, we will contact you via email with an estimated date or arrival and provide you with an alternative product where appropriate or cancel the order and provide a refund.
You must notify us within 24 hours if there is a problem, otherwise any claim may/will  be rejected at our discretion.

Delivery of Products

Deliveries from We Know Water Gardens are sent on an “authority to leave” basis, and we cannot accept any responsibility for goods after arrival.
We pack our orders including plants with great care, but should they arrive damaged contact us via email within 24 hours of receipt, so we can verify and rectify any issues.

Our Plants are ready to place into your pond so as soon as possible after they arrive, fit their floating ring and allow the plants to float in the pond or in a container of water.

We recommend you add the plants to their water location as soon as you receive them to reduce the stress from travel. Although we ship our plants in tip top shape, in some cases they may take a few days to settle & recover from their travel.

Live Fish Shipping

We’re excited to now offer live pond fish delivered directly to your door. Because your fish are living animals, we take extra care with both packing and delivery to give them the safest possible journey. Of course you can also select 'click & collect' at the checkout if you would like to collect them from We Know Pets.

Carefully Packed for the Journey

Every live fish order is specially packed for transportation, using packaging designed to help sustain the fish during their journey. Our packing is suitable for longer trips should an unexpected delay occur.

We carefully select our dispatch days to minimise the risk of fish being held in transit over a weekend.

Live Fish Delivery – $22

Live pond fish delivery is $22.

Orders can be shipped to:

• Your home
• Your workplace
• Any other suitable physical address you specify

Please note: live fish cannot be shipped to PO Boxes.

Please make sure someone is available to receive your fish when they arrive. Providing an accurate physical delivery address is the customer's responsibility.

When Will My Fish Arrive?

Live fish are shipped Monday to Thursday only. We do not send live fish late in the week where they may be delayed over a weekend.

Delivery usually takes approximately 1-2 days from when we ship your order. Pond plants can not be included with your fish order.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed, as once your order has been collected by the carrier, it is outside our direct control.

Receiving Your Fish

When your fish arrive, please open the package promptly and allow them to gradually acclimatise to your pond water before releasing them.

It is normal for fish to be stressed or less active following transportation. Please follow the acclimatisation instructions provided with your order.

For the health and welfare of your new fish, please ensure your pond is established and ready before placing your order.

Important Information

Live fish are living animals and cannot be treated in the same way as standard parcel deliveries. Please read our Live Pond Fish Terms & Conditions before ordering.
