Pond Liners & Preformed Ponds

Building a new pond? It starts with the right liner or pond. Our pond liners and preformed ponds range includes Firestone rubber pond liners and Blagdon no-dig ponds.

What's in the range

Working out your liner size

To find the liner size you need, measure the pond's maximum length and width, then add twice the maximum depth to each, plus about 60cm for overlap around the edges. For example, a pond 2m long, 1.5m wide and 0.5m deep needs a liner of about 3.6 x 3.1m.

Tips for a long-lasting pond

Remove sharp stones and roots from the hole, and lay a protective underlay such as sand or old carpet before the liner. Fill slowly and let the water pull the liner into shape.
