Healthy pond plants need the right home. Our planting baskets and floating rings range has everything you need to pot, position and feed your pond plants.

What's in the range

Planting baskets – PondMAX square baskets (190mm and 230mm), PondMAX round lily baskets (140mm and 220mm), an AquaPro 240mm square basket and the Oase Kidney Plant Basket.
Floating plant rings – for 12cm pots, plus PondMAX round rings and an AquaPro square ring to suit larger baskets.
Repotting kit – soil, a 12cm pot and a ring for repotting most pond plants.
Pond Plantz Time Release Fertiliser – slow-release tablets for pond plants.

Choosing a basket

Aquatic baskets have open sides so water can circulate around the roots. Use wide, shallow baskets for water lilies, which spread sideways, and deeper square baskets for marginal plants on the shelf around your pond. Fill with heavy soil rather than potting mix, which floats, and top with gravel.

Floating rings

A floating ring holds a potted plant at the surface, so you can position it anywhere in the pond while it settles in, then move it into a basket on your marginal shelf.

Feeding

Push a fertiliser tablet into the soil of each pot once a month from September to March. Read our guides on repotting pond plants and how to fertilise pond plants, or shop our pond plants.
