Green water and algae control – treatments for green water and string algae, including API Algaefix and Pond One algae blocks.
Beneficial bacteria – natural bacteria such as API Ecofix and Splosht, which break down sludge and fish waste.
Water conditioners and pH – make tap water safe for fish with API Tap Water Conditioner, or adjust pH with API pH Down.

Treat the cause, not just the symptom

Algae thrives on excess nutrients and sunlight. Treatments work best alongside good filtration, a UV clarifier for green water, and plenty of plants. Our filtering pond plants soak up nutrients naturally. Test your water first with a pond test kit so you know what you're treating.
