Fountain Pumps

Add the sound and sparkle of moving water with a fountain pump. These compact submersible pumps sit on the bottom of your pond or water feature and push water up through a fountain head, into a spitter or over a small cascade.

Our range is built around the Pond One Pondmaster series, from the 1800 to the 4900. They're a popular choice for small ponds, water bowls and garden water features, and the bigger models can also run a small filter or UV clarifier.

Choosing a fountain pump

  • Height: check the flow rate at the height you need. The higher the fountain or outlet, the less water the pump delivers.
  • Display: a taller spray or bigger fountain head needs a bigger pump.
  • Pond size: in a fish pond, the pump should also turn the water over regularly to keep it healthy.

Not sure which size? Our Pond Pump Finder will point you in the right direction.

Looking after your pump

Clean the prefilter sponge regularly so the pump doesn't block and overheat. You'll find replacement sponges and impellers in our Pondmaster parts. Keep fountains away from water lilies, which prefer still water.

For off-grid options, see our solar pumps and fountains, or browse all pond pumps.
