  • 3,700L – Heavily stocked pond or greater than average sun exposure

Pump Sizing Guide

When choosing your pond pump, consider:

  • Hose length to filter – Every 1m of pipe = 10cm head height
  • Hose height to filter – Vertical lift directly adds to head height
  • Hose diameter – Reducing 1 size from pump outlet = 1m head height
  • Bends in the hose – Each 90° bend = 1m head height, each 45° bend = 50cm head height

These factors will determine the pump’s end flow rate (L/ph) and ensure optimal filter performance.

Specifications

  • Filter Height: 66cm
  • Filter Diameter: 39cm
  • UVC Power: 13w
  • Max Pond Size: Up to 15,000L (depending on stock & sunlight exposure)

The Pond One Claritec 15,000UV is perfect for pond keepers looking for clear water, healthier fish, and reduced algae growth – all with the convenience of a pressurised, easy-to-maintain filter system.
