When adding plants,to your pond or water garden, we apply the following formula per square meter to maintain balance and quality in the water.

Add 3 Oxygenating plants

  • 2 x Brahmi (Bacopa Monnieri), 1 x Water Hyssop (Bacopa caroliniana).

Oxygenators reduce algae and provide essential oxygen for fish. 

Add 2 Marginal plants
  • 2 x Water Iris (Sextet).

Marginal plants provide habitat for frogs!

Add 1 Floating plant
  • 1 x Creeping Jenny (Lysimachia aurea).

Floating plants provide cover and protection for fish.
