Shield Pennywort (Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides) with floating ring

$13.00

Shield Pennywort (Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides) can be a slow growing plant that forms a dense mat with the appearance of little umbrellas. We recommend feeding it with a slow-release, aquatic-friendly fertiliser, Pond Plantz Time Release Fertilizer to get good growth.  It has shiny green leaves with a slight ruffle around the edge. It is a versatile plant that will grow both submersed and on the boggy margins of your pond. It will grow well in part shade and is an ideal plant for the edge of the pond as it copes in damp soil to boggy soil conditions.
