Marsilea mutica is also known as rainbow nardoo and water clover. As the common names suggest, this native pond plant has an ornamental clover shaped leaf and can display variegated colouring.
Marsilea has no flower and is grown for its unusual foliage. It dies down over winter in cooler regions of Australia and will emerge again with spring.
Feed in spring using the Pond Plantz time release fertilizer tablet by inserting the tablet 5-10cm under the surface of the soil.
An excellent choice for providing cover and protection for fish and frogs in the pond.
