Super green smoothie

This suKangkong recipe - super green smoothieper green smoothie can be made up using a ninja, or kitchen blender.

For those of you who are smoothie connoisseurs, you will give bitter kale the flick once you taste this recipe using kangkong.

 Kangkong is high in folate, niacin, Vitamins B5 & B6, thiamin, phosphorous, selenium and zinc. It is also dense with fibre, antioxidants and electrolytes including sodium and potassium.

 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of kangkong
    Add vanilla bean paste to your kangkong smoothie!
  • 125ml of unsweetend almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 5 strawberries
  • a quarter of a tspn vanilla bean paste
Method:

Add all ingredients to your blender or smoothie

maker. Include the stems of the kangong, these are highly nutritious!

For a summer time treat, freeze the banana and strawberries! Add banana, strawberries, almond milk and kangkong to blender

Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into glass and enjoy!
