This will prevent the water from disturbing the substrate as your fill up your aquarium.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n-For planted aquariums, fill aquarium 3-4cm above the substrate to make easier.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n-Use a scraper or ruler to level the surface, or if desired create gradients with the pant iron sand.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n-Slowly fill your aquarium after planting.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n-Allow your filtration to remove any clay from the water over the course of a few days. Any cloudiness will eventually settle. \u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n-Suitable  for freshwater and marine aquariums, paludarium and tropical terrariums.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n- Can safely be used with burrowing fish or use with aquarium vacuum cleaners.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n-Due to the rich iron properties of Plant Iron Sand the sand is slightly magnetic.
